What's the difference between PSD and PSB formats?

Can I view individual layers or just the flattened image?

What Photoshop versions are supported?

The viewer supports PSD files from Photoshop CS1 (version 8.0) through CC 2024+ and all versions in between (CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5, CS6, CC 2013-2024). Files created in older Photoshop versions (6.0, 7.0) are also supported. Modern Photoshop features like smart objects, adjustment layers, layer effects (shadows, glows), and blend modes are recognized, though some advanced effects may display as flattened in the composite view.

Are CMYK and Lab color mode PSD files supported?

The viewer fully supports RGB, Grayscale, and Bitmap color modes with accurate color rendering. CMYK (print) and Lab color mode files can be opened and viewed, but colors are converted to RGB for browser display, which may cause slight color shifts. For critical print work where exact CMYK values matter, use Photoshop with proper color management. For general viewing, mockup review, and design approval, our viewer works perfectly for all color modes.

What's the maximum file size I can upload?

The viewer supports PSD and PSB files up to 100MB. Most PSD files are smaller (5-50MB for typical designs), but large files with many high-resolution layers, smart objects, or extensive layer effects can exceed 100MB.
